Membership
To qualify, you must be at least 16 years old with a full-privilege driver's license that is valid in BC (Canadian provinces, U.S. States, most foreign countries are valid). Then,
- Send us a driver's abstract. Call ICBC at 978-8300 and ask them to email it to manager@victoriacarshare.ca. It's free!
- Attend a 35-minute orientation at one of our vehicles. We'll walk you through the process and answer all of your questions. Contact us to make an appointment. We schedule 2-3 orientations in group format per week at our downtown or Uvic locations. Please read our policies and rules before the orientation. You may be entitled to a free membership if you belong to a group listed at this page. Otherwise, you will need to purchase member shares at the orientation if you plan on becoming a shareholding member. We have non-shareholding memberships available as well.
That's it. We will process your application within one business day.
You'll then be able to use hundreds of car share co-op vehicles throughout B.C., including our fleet in Greater Victoria.
